After dropping Michelle off at MCG I noticed a tink tink sound that increased in frequency as I accelerated. I was hoping it was just a rock or something stuck in the tire tread but alas it was a giant nail and washer. The air was hissing out under the mud after I pulled in to our parking spot.
I picked from the closest tire repair shops that had the least wait time and ended up at Pep Boys on Washington.
Once they were done plugging the leak the service manager asked if I'd like a rewards card. Then, as my first reward, he said flat repairs were $0. Though several shops do stuff like that I've paid in the past, mostly because once you have a flat (or will have one) you're stuck with the closest shop.
It was nice and only wasted about an hour of my morning.
