After Christmas

Michelle and I just finished watching Music and Lyrics. I took the day off, somewhat unexpectedly, to put some time into acquiring Georgia tag and title for the truck. My father in law and I stopped by Lowe's to pick up a new faucet for their kitchen after getting the title at the courthouse. Burgers for lunch; pizza for dinner.

In the days prior to this one, we had a great Christmas. We had a nice gift exchange on Christmas Eve at Paula's house and saw some people we haven't seen in awhile. Marc brought a Cheesecake Factory cheesecake, which I enjoyed too much.

Earlier that day Michelle and I opened the presents we got each other in our apartment. I received a Sex Panther shirt, The Ruby Way by Hal Fulton, Mario Galaxy, and a Starbucks gift card. All items were wildly desired. Michelle enjoyed her presents also, and I was able to surprise her by getting some tickets to Monster Jam at the Dome. A lot of people don't know this, but she really likes things with flames on them, and she seems to know most of the monster truck names. I figured I would have had her beat at that, but in our little naming contest I believe I said "Bigfoot" and then started to name characters from the Transformers movie; while I did this she confidently floated the names "Avenger, Aftershock...". I tried hard to tell if she was faking it; the fact that both names started with A seemed a little suspicious, but those are real trucks.

On Christmas day we opened presents at her parents house and then had a great lunch of turkey, ham, potatoes and all the things that go well with those. We went to my mom's around 3 to open some more presents and have another meal.

We will also be brushing with Sonicare toothbrushes from now on. They take a little getting used to but the reviews are good and I'm liking mine.

Time for another movie before bed...
