My site has for two days now sported a new look. It's purely CSS, unlike some of the previous redesigns which touched backend code. Much has actually been stripped out and simplified.
The old design had one layout for the main page with a thin column on the right and a layout for the permalink page, which had a column on the left. The main page also used to have a section for del.icio.us links and a large footer with some "about me" information, recent posts, archives, and links.
Now it's all about a wider main column (about 500px) and a slim column (180px) on the right for links and other information. As always, I like it.
-- Sunday we had a great time at Taste of Atlanta. The weather was agreeable and there was a lot of good food to be had. I took enough Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte samples to amount to the real thing.
