Last night I got into the expanded beta for Joost. I've been interested in it since Michelle and I don't pay for anything more than Basic Cable (just for the internet really) and it seemed like it might be a way to finally watch some full-screen TV.
The channel selection was limited, and a few times the video would stall or buffer, but overall it was pretty good. I wouldn't call the picture crystal clear but it was easily watchable from a few feet away.
For now, my National Geographic needs are readily satisfied by Joost.
