There are 9 million documented Thai restaurants around here. They are usually in older, nondescript buildings, so some put the estimate at nearly 12 million in Ft. Walton Beach alone. So elusive are they that some are known to hang signs with such things as "We might serve Thai here."
We pulled into one after work today for some pad thai. It's pretty much the only thing we ever order, but it's so excellent. Oddly, there's little variation in how it tastes among the different restaurants, so that's cool.
Afterward we did some baby shower shopping at Target, grabbed a coffee from Starbucks and a Ice Dream from Chick-fil-a and headed home.
