I've been downloading the free iTunes song of the week for the past few weeks. Most are pretty good. I think they're trying to inspire me to explore and possibly purchase some music. What they don't realize is that in 10 years, I'll have the largest collection of music ever, composed exclusively of these free iTunes songs.
People will try and figure me out based on my music collection, but they won't get anywhere. There will be so much statistical noise in my preferences. Then again, I suppose I'll look like a fan of generally unpopular music. It's not like Apple gives away the megahits.
This week I've added a song by Rock Kills Kid and also one by Sophie Milman.
